The Situation

In 2008, we were approached by Electronic Arts, a brand on a mission to put their global player base first. EA were facing fundamental challenges in how their advertising campaigns were being run, a problem that was standing in the way of their global growth. They needed a centralised production process to help them launch strong global campaigns, fast.

 

The Solution

Our experience in managing global campaigns provided a turnkey solution in helping EA achieve their mission, allowing them to keep launching new games with impact. 

One product we continually help to promote is FIFA, EA’s biggest game franchise. Every campaign brings a new set of challenges and FIFA 20 was no exception. But guess what – we love a challenge.

In September 2019, FIFA 20 was released worldwide. The pressure was on to ensure that the global content was turned around rapidly and launched on time across all target regions (covering EMEA, APAC, US and Canada). In less than 3 weeks we adapted, localised and delivered 3000+ assets (TV, video & digital) to 30+ markets. All deadlines were met with no compromise on quality. 

The Outcome

The campaign was a huge success. With over 10 million copies sold, FIFA 20 was one of the best-selling console titles in the world in 2019. 

Alongside delivering mass media campaigns for FIFA we’ve helped EA successfully campaigns for many of their biggest franchises including The Sims™, Battlefield, Need For Speed and Star Wars™.
