Business problem

As the market leader, Sage are a globally recognised brand, but in order to maintain global market share they needed to innovate both their products and their marketing. Over the last few years they have developed a range of new business products (Sage One, Sage Live, Sage X3 and Sage People) as part of a company-wide business transformation. Alongside this product development, they have also been pioneering how to use digital technology to reach their target audiences across the globe, using cost-effective marketing channels.

Solution

Freedman built a dedicated team in London and worked in partnership with the client team in 10 global Sage offices to build effective campaign planning, management and delivery processes for four global creative agencies, one global media agency and hundreds of stakeholders worldwide. We delivered over 10,000 creative assets for local markets in 2017 alone, minimising duplication, maximising local adaptation and delivering for multiple languages, formats and regulations.

Outcome

During a period of business transformation and global growth Sage have able able to rely upon Freedman’s experienced team to manage the complexities of implementing global marketing campaigns. Sage have successfully launched global marketing campaigns for new products, localized in-market, that have allowed them to shore up their market share, maintain margins and increase their share price.
