Senior Account Manager

We are currently looking for a Senior Account Manager with experience of the marketing industry to join our team and support the delivery of high quality work for our major global brand-name clients.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop strong client relationships on with clients, continually seeking out ways to improve our service to them;
  • Support senior client service team with preparation of client plans and forecasts;
  • Provide information for and attend client update meetings and work to address any concerns or project issues;
  • Support Account Director in developing agendas for, organising and running client meetings
  • Support successful delivery of client expectations, keeping all stakeholders informed of the progress of projects and comms (internal & external) and dealing with or escalating any issues efficiently
  • Hosting client inductions and demos to Freedman tools
  • Line manage Account Executive level roles as required, guiding and developing them to build their understanding and skillsets;
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and devise new, innovative ways and processes to support project delivery;
  • Draft proposals, presentations and pitch work for discussion with your Account Director
  • Track and manage account forecasts, attending and preparing for status meetings with Finance team and Account Director to ensure all targets are met
  • Reviewing costs against budget on an ongoing basis and flag any issues to your Account Director
  • Collaborating with the Client Services team to deliver the Account team’s strategic and financial objectives
  • Liaising with the Financial Controller to ensure prompt payment of client invoices
  • Supporting the development of an Account Executive by sharing relevant experiences
  • Proactively supporting your Account Director, suggesting new ideas and questioning thinking where appropriate
  • Champion the importance of teamwork and motivate others around them. Encouraging pro-activeness and solution driven approaches
  • Fostering good relationships with all internal departments and cross-functional teams

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years client service experience gained in a creative/production agency;
  • Previous, demonstrable experience managing mid-senior level client relationships and expectations;
  • Demonstrable experience of supporting high-performing projects;
  • Passionate about helping our clients succeed;
  • Super-organised, able to handle a diverse workload and changing priorities effectively;
  • Strong commercial understanding and ability to spot opportunities and turn them into results;
  • Confident, engaging communicator, able to win over internal and external stakeholders;
  • Keen interest in working within a production agency, contributing to the account and overall department’s vision and strategy;
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills;
  • A strong strategical, operational and logical approach to client and account management.
